Welcome to Kraków! ^^

At the end of previous holidays I visited my best friend - Roksana who lives in Kraków. I spent there almost 2 weeks. Incredible weeks! ^^
Kraków is a place must-be, must-see. It's the most amazing, fabulous city in Poland! You just have to go there. Anyway, I've been there several times, but this one was a special one, because I spent time with my best friend! :)

I had lot of free time and some savings, so these 2 weeks became really awesome. Kraków is rather big city, so there is quite lot to see and we were so curious, so keen to experience everything, to take part in every event, to go each places, to meet amazing people, we just wanted adventures... and our wishes became true!

At day, we came to wonderful old market square, just to look around, then we visited some restaurants, for ex. Georgian restaurant where we had such delicious meals, we tried new tastes...

We participated in free walking tours - themed little trips in English or Spanish (for foreigners) which shows marvelous, sometimes forgotten places in Kraków. Of course, we took part in each tour in English. It was amazing! We met so many kind people, you can't even imagine how great adventure was it! There were such tours as: Jewish Kraków, Old Kraków, Foods of Kraków (Polish food exactly), Kraków Macabre (really good one!), Street Art and more...

Moreover, we went to Wawel Castle, Manufaktura Czekolady, Wedel, to Jewish quarter (it's so long story), Barbacan, Florian's Gate... Actually, to some place we've been like three times a day! Kraków's so worth it! ^^

Alone, I went to Kościuszko mound, to Salt Mine in Wieliczka and to Łagiewniki. If you are in Kraków, these are ones of places must-see.

Jewish quarter known as well as Kazimierz surprised me a lot. Being there in the middle of night, having party with all amazing people you've just met, it's something unforgettable! Actually, all Kazimierz is like another city. Amazing, wonderful places, beautiful for movies' backgrounds.
In Kazimierz starts to live at evening. I can't even describe well what I feel. It need to be there, to feel the ambience! These all pubs at Plac Nowy (New Square) which surrounded the rotunda at the center of the square where like from a fairy tale. And the rotunda - incredible places where you can find like ten of snack bar and you can buy only one thing: zapiekanka (polish snack - drunk food)
What a delicious zapiekanka's we had there! ^^

What's more, we did a Pub Crawl there, what a night was it! All pubs near old market square and in Kazimierz in one night. We visited such fascinating places. Kraków is full of surprises!

Every time we've been hungry, we went to Szewska street to McDonald. Ice-creams at 3h am are really a good idea, trust me! ;)

Kraków is known as a city of famous artists, and that's true: we've met Paweł Królikowski (Kusy from "Ranczo") and Victor the husarian knight, we took part in Masterchef's happening etc...

Right now, I have such wonderful memories, hope that I could experience more adventures like these in Kraków. Not only won't I forget these all events, also I will always know have wonderful friend I have! ^^

THANK YOU, MY DEAR ROKSANA! :)

Holi Open Air Wrocław 2014

My previous holidays was plenty of events. As you already know, I've been to Międzyzdroje, but also I've visited Wrocław. There was Holi Open Air Festival, so without any hesitation I took part in it. It had place at Świebodzki Train Station on 30 August.
It was such great experience to be there, to see these all young people having fun together!

There was a stage where were some concerts there, in front of it thousands of people, especially students, who came there to celebrate Festival of Colors. Almost everyone had some white clothes, but when the concerts started the t-shirts and other stuff suddenly became so colorful, you can't imagine what happened!

At 8h pm everyone just started the party: many different colorful powder was thrown in the air, one big scream filled my ears after that a band started to play the music. It was awesome! I've never experienced anything like that! You just had to be there, to see this big show, to feel it!

Late evening, it started to rain, so everyone was dirty of mud, powder and other stuff...
It was really fun! Actually, some guys was afraid of the rain, they were running away to find some good place to hide, to shelter from the rain... But mostly, people stayed in front of the stage, just dancing, having incredible fun!

There were a few contests, so it was a possibility to win some t-shirts or other stuff which promoted Holi Open Air.

Anyway, I've meet a lot of amazing people, had unbelievable fun and what's more, I've made my boring, ordinary life more exciting ;)

If you have an opportunity to take part in events like that one, please don't hesitate, just go, because it's really good to make your life more and more wonderful, to meet other people, to experience, to live! :)
