Downton Abbey

The spirit of early 20s, beautiful costumes, intriguing plot, wonderful actors with excellent British accent and sophisticated humor... yes! That's Downton Abbey! :)

If not Julian Fellowes, we wouldn't have pleasure to get along with new adventure, what's more, we can learn something about history, social relations and generally how people lived in those time.

Not only can we admire breath-taking landscapes of England; plenty of grassy meadows with sheep, castles... we can just feel the taste of early 20s. The movie easily brings us into times of dukes, duchesses, counts, upper class (upstairs) and also third class (downstairs).

The characters are so realistic as if we start to think that once there were such people who live over there. What's more, the plot is amazingly intriguing, plenty of adventures, fulfilled with tears, happiness, betrayals, loves, deceptions, riddles. There are some moments which make you cry, but also, sometimes you can burst into laugh: some characters make great jokes, they are very amusing, so you're not gonna be boring.

If you like tv series, I thoroughly recommend you this one! :)

Ice skating ^^

Who likes sports? Especially winter sports?
My favourite one is ice skating. It's such fun when you can spend time with your friends on ice :)

Last thursday, there was Ice Party organised by my university. About 200 hundreds students were ice skating. If you get tired, you just could sit somewhere down to get relaxed or drink some special beverage - Grzaniec. Grzaniec is a hot red wine with spices especially with ginger. It really helps to warm you up! ^^

I've met with my friends there, we had really great time all together. Laughing, talking, dancing, and falling down.. this event was a nice idea to hang out.

Anyway, there were some competitions in which we could have won amazing prices like tickets to cinema. I took part in one - rock'n'roll. Together with my friend Jędrzej, we were dancing on ice! It was amazing, never have I had such fun on ice ring! :) Unfortunately, we haven't won anything, but the memories are better than prizes!

After all, we went to McDonald to eat something, 'cause 3 hours of ice-skating are quite exhausting..

All in all, everything was awesome, I'm so glad, that my university organised it. Looking forward to Ice Party! :) If you have possibility to take part in this kind of parties don't hesitate! ;)

It's so sad that people kill each other.

You know what happend in Paris. Terrorists killed innocent people. The caricaturists from Charlie Hebdo were the aim. They drew. They made cartoon drawings of well-kown politics, in that, the muslims. They were known as very distinguishing weekly. But should have been killed? There is only one correct answer: NO!!

Unfortunately, there were other people who were killed, too. Who did nothing bad. Who have just been at the wrong time, in the wrong place.

All world look at France, which is united in its sadness. The terrorist wanted to put her on knees, but France stood up bravely showing its strength and unity.

The crayons are more powerful than guns, violence... Right now all cartoonists all over the world are showing the strength of expression, beautiful tribute to the victims...

I'm shocked, disgusted, feeling sick. Support for families of all the victims of Charlie Hebdo.

Anyway, people have no right to kill each other!!Hope, that the justice will come soon, that we'll understand that the thing we have to make is LOVE NOT WAR!
