"Tous les mêmes"

Coach, a special angel sent by God, has a secret mission to fulfill on the Earth: helping people find their happiness. This time, thanks to the divine announcement in the press, there are three men: dominated by their wives: Jean-Claude Serpillière - bored with his businesswoman-wife, Olivier Ficheman - a rich and kind of mean hero who has existential problems and narcissus Georges Glaçon who treats women like toys. Will Coach help them? Or will he let them lose their lives? Well, what about God? ...

Theatre time! Actually, FRENCH theatre! :) 12th and 13th June we've put out a display titled "Tous les mêmes" which shows the life of three men who don't know how to find their happiness.

We were preparing this play around one and a half month. Our professor of French was the director and the actress as well. The students took part as actors and some of them were responsible for the lights and the music. There were a lot to do, but at least we had fun.

Glaçon and the lovers <3
When it comes to me, I played really small part in the show: I acted one of Glaçon's lovers. It was a great challenge, I learnt a lot, especially how to dance in bollywood style ^^

If you haven't seen the spectacle, there will be opportunity to watch this as a movie, because our last display was recorded :)

We displayed four times, each time was amazing, extraordinary and of course different. The audience was wonderful! They applauded enormously, even some guests gave us some flowers! :)

All in all, I'm so happy that could have been part of this play, especially that could have create theatre in french. Can't wait next challenge like this one! :)

Aerofest and glider picnic

Last weekend Poznań was a venue of big event: the aerofestival. There were many acrobatic teams from all over the world which had come here to show some special skills.

Turkish Stars, Baltic Bees, Pioneer Team, De Havilland Vampire Display Team, Patrouille Reva, Flying Bulls Aerobatics Team, Aero Gera Display Team and Firebirds Team were the attraction during the festival. They all showed breath-taking displays. The audience was just standing with opened mouth and staring at the sky. Everything was wonderful! Even the weather was great: sunny, and a little bit windy, so people could have got tanned ;)

For example, there is similar event in my hometown every year. Actually, it's more connected with gliders, but anyway, there's plenty to see there as well.

It's called glider picnic. Entrance is totally free for everyone. Here, you can also admire amazing shows of planes. What's more, you can have a flight in a glider, balloon or plane if you want to, or even win a ticket to do it! There are many contests and attractions, so you can spend a good time with your family.

If you have some free time last weekend of June, I do recommend you to visit Leszno and take part in the picnic. Don't hesitate! :)

The second international festival of francophone theater for students

During the first week of June, there was The second international festival of francophone theater for students. The Polish Theatre was the venue. There were many groups who came from Belarus, Ukraine, Romania, Albania, Slovenia etc. They all had had to choose one of ten pieces and prepare short spectacles (about 30-40 min).

During the festival, there were plenty of workshops ans lectures connected with francophone theatre. Moreover, there was a possibility to meet ans talk with directors, authors of pieces and actors of course.

The integrating with other participants was the principle of the event. Also, the language was one of the reasons which gathered people.

Each evening, there were two spectacles put on scene. I did enjoy the festival. Not only could I improve French, also I had really nice time with other participants. Can't wait the next one! :)

हिंदी दिवस - Hindi Day

Sarhi
Last Saturday, there was an event called The Tibetan-Hindi Day organized by Asian Institut from Adam Mickiewicz University. It was really wonderful event, I've never thought that in Poznań live so many Hindus. Actually, it was a great opportunity to learn something new and interesting about Hindi culture, its history and life style.

अगता - Agata
There were many shows like Bollywood dance, Tibetan gongs and interview with foreigners living in Poznań as well as workshops: yoga, belly dance, Hindi classes. All in all, everyone could have found something for themselves.

Also, we could have tried traditional meals from Taiwan and Hindi cuisine. There were a store with sarhi, a place with henna tattoo, a place for children where they could have drawn a pictures using special Hindi powder.

It was really amazing day, many things happend. We had such fun! Can't wait for other events like this one! :)
